A vintage travel trunk in a dark green colour with solid wood cross bands and brass fittings. The inner is fully lined and the trunk would make a fabulous storage chest and or coffee table.

Rocking Weekend
Enjoy a rocking bank holiday weekend and many more with this gorgeously stylish vintage Parker Knoll rocking chair. The chair was designed in the mid 60’s and it’s solid teak frame is married with a newly upholstered chair. The fabric is a rich pure wool herringbone in a period style greyish green.

Many a West German vase has passed through my hands over the last couple of years but I must proclaim that these two are by far my favourites. Their geometric designs and organic colour insure that they remain contemporary and stylish after almost 40 years.

Retrorumage offers a Personal Shopper service when we take our trips to the UK and Europe. We have sourced some fantastic pieces for our clients over the last few years and the cabinet above has to be one of our favourite finds.
It was purchased on our last trip to the UK for a client with a wonderful home in Co. Wicklow. The cabinet came from an old pharmacy in Prague and was hand built when the pharmacy opened in the 1930’s. Each drawer has a metal and porcelain handle with a hand painted content label. The drawers were used to hold powders and over the years the wood has taken on the beautiful hues of each colour.
A gorgeous piece for a gorgeous home.
Thanks Virginie
A rare original vintage Palata Tea advertising sign. The sign is hand painted on a wooden board and dates back to 1930’s. A great piece for a kitchen wall or cafe/restaurant space.
