This is just in the door at Retrorumage HQ. It is a very classy 1960’s book case cabinet. There is no makers name attached, but the finish, quality, and styling are very similar to that of the G-plan Danish range, designed by Koford Larsen.

Dimensions: 152w x 27d x 88h cm approx.

This is a very cool, and unusual 1960’s storage cabinet. It’s previous owner tells me that it was purchased in Dublin in the 60’s, and it’s style, and finish are very consistent with the design of Brendan Dunne. http://www.museum.ie/en/exhibition/list/20th-century-furniture.aspx?article=eb56ca86-cac4-4cb1-869d-1950e3379a82

An interesting 1950’s solid oak clerks desk, and side chair. The desk is a nice compact size, with a handy pull out stationary tray, three storage drawers, and original brass nobs. The chair is a nice example of early 50’s design. It has it’s original leather seat covering, but the option is there to recover.

This is a unique opportunity to own an outstanding piece of Mid 20th Century British design by Greaves and Thomas of London. Designed in the 1960’s, and retailed at the higher end of the furniture design market through the company’s Bond street store, and the Iconic Heals of London.

The suite consists of a three seater sofa and two armchairs. It is a truly elegant piece with spindle back form, flowing curves, and tapered legs. The wood is a combination of teak, elm and afromosia. This suite is one of the finest examples of MCM design that Retrorumage has had the pleasure to source.

And now for the good news. It has yet to be re-upholstered so you can play a part in it’s new design. You choose the colour scheme, and style of fabric, and in conjunction with our upholstery team, we will create a stunning finish.
