Something a little different
We have acquired a limited number of wooden storage crates from the 1940’s/50’s. They were used to delivery medicine and supplies to Irish pharmacies in the middle of the 20th century. Each crate is stamped ‘May Roberts Grand Canal Street Dublin’.
Vintage crates are hard to find so much so that companies in the Far East are now producing replicas. I much prefer the shappy look of the original worn wood. It has history and tells a story and that’s impossible to replicate.
Size: 48cm L approx.
The crates will go on sale at the January Dublin Flea at just €20 each.
Contact retrorumage@gmail.com if you would like to reserve one and don’t forget stocks are limited.
